Sociable Soccer for PC and console will release in Q2 2022

IT’S COMING HOME! SOCIABLE SOCCER PC & CONSOLE RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED

Highly anticipated global release will be packed with new gameplay and features, building on the mobile game’s huge success

Kiss Publishing Limited (KPL), in association with developer Tower Studios, will release Sociable Soccer for PC and console in Q2 2022, following the title’s huge success on Apple Arcade.

The game, designed by Sensible Soccer creator Jon Hare, will be made available by KPL globally for Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation 4/5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X/S, in addition to a full Steam release.

Sociable Soccer was originally released in 2019 via Apple Arcade for iOS, where it has built up a huge following of fans for its fast, arcade-style, intuitive gameplay, complete with multiplayer head-to-heads and collectible player cards.

The highly anticipated console and PC versions of the game will offer the same great player experiences and more, including:

  • Enhanced graphics and animations
  • Enhanced gameplay, strategy & AI
  • Collectible legend players per club
  • Challenges and battle pass system
  • Improved PVP matchmaking & customisable difficulty
  • Update to all 1,000 teams & 30,000 players for 21/22 season

Meanwhile, gamers who bought the previously available Early Access version on Steam in 2017 will get a new Steam code from KPL on release.

KPL Head of Publishing Darryl Still offered: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with Jon Hare and Tower Studios to bring Sociable Soccer to PC and console platforms. The game has been a huge success on mobile and we can’t wait to introduce it to new audiences around the world.”

Tower Studios CEO Jon Hare said: “Sociable Soccer has been a labour of love since we first started working on the game as a PC title in 2015. With the game firmly established on Apple Arcade we’ve found the perfect partner in KPL to take it to Steam, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. We’ve always thought of Sociable Soccer as an organic football franchise – and it’s going to be growing more over the next few years.”

Press release 12th of March 2020 – Sociable Soccer is proud to announce the launch of its partnership with Football Aid.

Sociable Soccer is a cross-platform action soccer game, designed by Sensible Soccer maestro Jon Hare and developed in the UK and Finland. Currently available on Apple Arcade via US publisher Rogue Entertainment, it is also due out on mobile in China and on PC and consoles worldwide later this year.

Football Aid’s core concept is to allow football fans, who have only been able to dream about it, the chance to experience the ultimate thrill of matchday; to pull on their favourite shirt, to walk down the tunnel to the sound of the crowd and to play on the hallowed turf of the Club they support, in a true ‘money can’t buy’ experience. Football Aid was created as a unique way of raising money for a wide variety of charitable and community voluntary organisations supported by the Clubs that take part in these magical events.

For the rest of this football season players of Sociable Soccer and Football Aid participants will be invited to join the developers, ex-professional football legends and a smattering of influencers at a variety of English Premier League matches where they can enjoy a 3 course meal in comfort before watching a match in executive seats.

Pictured are Fiona, Jack Dean, Mike Milligan (former Norwich City and Republic of Ireland professional), Jack Smith and Jon Hare (Sociable Soccer and Sensible Soccer designer) at the launch of this partnership during the recent match between Norwich City v Leicester City.

The next match also happens to be at Carrow Road, this time it’s Norwich City v Southampton on Saturday March 14th

PocketGamer is hosting a competition where you can win a ticket to the above mentioned game. Good luck! https://www.pocketgamer.com/articles/082376/win-an-executive-ticket-to-see-norwich-vs-southampton-in-the-english-premier-league-with-our-latest-competition/

Then we are doing Burnley v Sheffield Utd on April 11th and hopefully more including Brighton v Newcastle on May 9th.
